Wochenbericht des Frederick Ensemble vom 14.09.20 bis zum 18.09.20

Diese Woche hat das Ensemble jeden Tag am Haus Witten geprobt. Am Montag wurden die Kostüme auch dorthin transportiert, im Laufe der Woche wurden auch noch fehlende Elemente wie beispielsweise Schuhe für einige Teilnehmer_innen ergänzt. Dienstag wurde nach der Theaterprobe um 13:00 Uhr noch die Einlage, welche zwischen der beiden Stücke stattfinden könnte geprobt und es wurden Flyer und Plakate in Lädenlokalen verteilt und angebracht. Ab Mittwoch wurde das Stück jeweils in einem Durchlauf geprobt. Ein Fokus dieser Woche war es in einer höheren Lautstärke zu sprechen, da der Spielort relativ viele und laute Hintergrundgeräusche mit sich bringt. Es wurde ebenfalls fehlende Kostümierung gekauft.

Am Freitagmorgen fand eine Besprechung gemeinsam mit den Mitarbeiter_innen der Projektfabrik, die die Produktion hinter den Kulissen unterstützen, statt, um die Pläne für nächste Woche Bezüglich der Proben, der Maske, weiterer Werbemaßnahmen, und des Zeitplans für die Premiere zu klären.

Die Arbeiten innerhalb der Projektfabrik beinhalteten das erneute Verteilen von Plakaten und Flyern, wie das Sortieren von Materialien, welche nächste Woche für die Proben und das Stück benötigt werden. Vergeblich haben ein paar Teilnehmer in der Drogerie nach Fehlendem Material für die Maske gesucht und haben sich gegen den Kauf entschieden. Es ließ sich doch noch vor Ort auftreiben. Es wurden noch einige Kleidungsstücke im Fundus heraus gesucht und anprobiert.

Weekly report of the Frederick Ensemble from 14.09.20 to 18.09.20

This week the ensemble rehearsed every day at Haus Witten. On Monday, the costumes were transported there as well, and during the course of the week missing elements such as shoes for some of the participants were added.
On Tuesday, after the rehearsal at 1:00 pm, the interlude that could take place between the two plays was rehearsed and flyers and posters were distributed and put up in stores. From Wednesday on, the play was rehearsed in one go. One focus of this week was to speak at a higher volume, since the venue has a relatively large and loud background noise. Missing costumes were also purchased.

On Friday morning, a meeting was held with the staff of the Projektfabrik, who support the production behind the scenes, to clarify the plans for next week with regard to rehearsals, make-up, further advertising measures, and the schedule for the premiere.

The work within the Projektfabrik included the redistribution of posters and flyers, such as the sorting of materials needed for next week’s rehearsals and the play. A few participants searched in vain in the drugstore for missing material for the mask and decided against buying it. It could still be found on the spot. A few more items of clothing were found in the fundus and tried on.

Das Stimmungsbild des Ensembles im Laufe der Woche

Die Woche startete für die Teilnehmer_innen insgesamt mit eher gedämpfter Stimmung, da das Ende der Letzten Woche sehr anstrengend gewesen war. Die Stelle, die letzten Donnerstag noch viele Probleme bereitet hatte, konnte aber am Anfang der Woche schon stark verbessert werden. Am Montag und Dienstag konnten die Pläne das Stück in einem Durchlauf zu proben noch nicht realisiert werden, aufgrund von Problemstellen, Verspätungen und Abwesenheiten. Ab Mittwoch konnte dies dann aber funktionieren, was die Stimmung hob. Auch die Konkretisierung der Kostüme und Probenpläne, sowie das gute Wetter wirkten sich positiv aus. Am Ende der Woche gibt es nun vom gesamten Ensemble Daumen nach oben, und wir blicken aufgeregt aber guten Mutes den letzten Proben und den Aufführungen entgegen!

The mood of the ensemble during the week

The week started with a rather subdued mood for the participants, as the end of the last week had been very exhausting. The part that had caused many problems last Thursday, however, was greatly improved at the beginning of the week. On Monday and Tuesday the plans to rehearse the play in one go could not yet be realized due to problem areas, delays and absences. But from Wednesday on this could work, which lifted the spirits. The concretization of the costumes and rehearsal plans, as well as the good weather also had a positive effect. At the end of the week, the entire ensemble is now giving thumbs up, and we are looking forward to the last rehearsals and performances with excitement but good spirits!
