Second week of pilot in Portugal
In this second week, we have the testimony of the theater trainer, Rita Burmester, also the responsible for the artistic part of the pilot project taking place in Porto, Portugal:
“This week the group got in tune, now we work like one. Each one with its particularity, with its problems, barriers, difficulties, but with the same space and desire to create and rediscover itself through the theater.
We have been working on ambient sounds and understanding how we are part of a collective sound. We experimented movements and we were inspired by photos, to add volume to our roots.
We identified some personal characteristics of the group, some of them qualities that help us in life and others less positive that need to be worked on. So, we found a forest of human bodies.
And we now know that Mr. Keneur has something to say, something to teach us and we will learn from him in this collective environment, creating new roots.”

Segunda semana do piloto em Portugal
Nesta segunda semana, temos o testemunho da formadora de teatro, Rita Burmester, a responsável pela componente artística do projeto piloto a decorrer no Porto, Portugal:
“Esta semana o grupo entrou em sintonia, agora parecemos um. Cada qual com a sua particularidade, com os seus problemas, barreiras, dificuldades, mas com o mesmo espaço e vontade para criar e se redescobrir através do teatro.
Estivemos a trabalhar em sons ambiente e a compreender como nós fazemos parte de um som coletivo. Experimentámos movimentos e inspiramo-nos em fotografias para dar mais volume às nossas raízes.
Identificamos algumas características pessoais do grupo, uma parte delas qualidades que nos ajudam na vida e outras menos positivas que necessitam ser trabalhadas. Encontrámos assim uma floresta de corpos humanos.
E sabemos agora, que Mr. Keneur tem algo a dizer, algo a nos ensinar e nós vamos aprender com ele neste nosso ambiente, coletivo, criando novas raízes.”
